Success for new single serve pots at Cafe Life Awards

We’re delighted that our new single serve soup pots were ‘Highly Commended’ at the recent Café Life Food Awards!
Our thanks go to FreshFayre who nominated the range in the ‘Savoury’ category; scooping the accolade was a great achievement – and we all enjoyed meeting the evening’s host, celebrity chef and café entrepreneur, Aldo Zilli!
Initially available in five of our most popular flavours – Tomato & Basil, Carrot & Coriander, Lentil, Leek & Potato and Thai Chicken – the 380g pots contain a generous serving of fresh soup and are ideal for use in ‘grab & go’ food outlets and for out of hours service, as well as in smaller cafes and restaurants, and in vending stations in schools, colleges, hospitals and the workplace. Just like our larger 4kg tubs, they’re quick and easy to heat in the microwave, and are a nutritious and tasty snack at any time of day.
“Since their launch just six months ago, the individual pots have attracted a great following and we’re thrilled that they have been recognised by this long established and prestigious awards scheme,” said David Colwell, foodservice controller.
